Faux Glass Embellishments

During this class you will have the opportunity to work with an amazing art material that looks like stained glass! It is textured on one side and smooth on the other side. This faux glass art material is actually plastic and can be cut easily with a pair of scissors! It is fun and easy to work with! And, best of all the results are stunning!
The Obertins will share their secrets for creating awesome dichroic glass effects that are perfect for jewelry making and for greeting card accents.
Students please bring a sturdy pair of scissors (small and large blade sizes, if possible).

All additional supplies including jewelry findings will be provided. Students will receive a class pack of supplies to use during the class and may take the leftovers home to create additional pieces.

NOTE: Students may need to pick their art pieces up the next morning.

Clay Mold Paper Castings

Learn how much fun it is and how easy it is to create beautiful paper castings with Sandi’s Original Design Stoneware Clay Molds. You will have the opportunity to create many paper castings using a wide variety of Sandi’s Stoneware Clay Molds.
Once you have created several paper castings, Sandi will teach you different ways to color and/or enhance your paper cast designs and Sandi will teach you how to combine your designs. After decorating some of your castings you may choose to assemble cards, create ornaments and embellishments or create more paper castings or continue to decorate your castings. The choice is yours.

NOTE: Students taking Sandi's New Rubber Nature Tool Stamp Class may wish to incorporate some of works in this class (like Sandi did in some of her samples).

All supplies provided. Please bring a scissors & glue stick.

Rubber Nature Tool Stamp Workshop

I promise that by using my innovative Rubber Nature Tool Stamps properly YOU will be able to create amazing special color and design effects! My Rubber Nature Tool Stamps will allow you to work with color in different ways and to create awesome special effects designs in seconds! *Please see leaves sample. Each leaf was created using exactly the same ink color in exactly the same order! The only variable was the Tool Stamp. YOU will learn to take an image - delicately detailed or bold - almost any image - and change it a multitude of different ways! You will leave this class with some wondrous art components that you can later use for scrapbooking, card making, collage... whatever!

*Your class fee includes our new six piece Rubber Nature Tool Stamp Kit #2 with color samples and instructions. Use your kit in class and then take it home to create more magic.

Please bring a Scissors (straight edge and fancy edge); a favorite rubber stamp or two; a glue stick.

Play with Zia's latest stamp images of tattoos, figures, columns and textures, Fiber/Fabric papers, colored pencils and her new "M" series and Element Series sprayable watercolors to create an EXTREME stamped scene!

Cards, Cards, Cards - 2009

Sarah Justison of The Paper Cut

You will have plenty to do in this fast paced and fun class put on by 2 of your favorite companies – The Paper Cut and Impression Obsession!! You will move from table to table and make up to 11 cards (envelopes will be supplied with each card). Come and see what is NEW from both companies, along with some of the old favorites to make an assortment of cards for different occasions. You will be given the paper supplies for all cards, so you can work at your own speed - work fast to finish all of the cards or work leisurely and finish your favorites (of course, bring your camera to take a picture of those you don’t get to). This is a fun class to take with friends or make new friends as you stamp your heart out for 2 hours.
All supplies are provide - however, you are welcome to bring your favorite adhesive if you'd like.

NOTE: This is a moving class, so students must be mobile to move from table to table.

All supplies will be provided.

Clever Cutts & Ornament Boxes

Michelle Cutts - Art Gone Wild

These fun ornaments are just begging to be hung on your tree! They’re made with the Clever Cutts Slider Box Template, which we’ll be using in class. We will also be stamping with Art Gone Wild's new, innovative View Maker Clear Stamp Sets. During class, we’ll use specially designed paper packs to make these ornaments. Afterward, you can use the rest of the paper pack to make cards that coordinate with your ornament. Or purchase the Clever Cutts Slider Box Template at the end of class and make additional ornaments for friends and family members. They’re clever, easy projects to create and unique, fun gifts to receive!
Please bring a scissors and an adhesive runner (or a roll of double-sided tape). If you have a small snowflake punch, please also bring it with you (optional).

This technique class focuses on Ranger's Distress inks, Archival ink, pigment ink and Perfect Pearls to create awesome backgrounds for stamping. You'll learn how to apply the inks for SUCCESS every time...You'll learn to use the blending tools and you'll play with mini misters. I'll show you how to easily alter chipboard too.
This class features lots of fun techniques and shows the versatility of these inks.
You're here to play...so no note taking will be needed...
You'll be provided with labels for the technique tags, with complete instructions for creating these techniques. This makes a GREAT reference for future play.
For the grand finale...you'll choose YOUR favorite "just learned technique" to create an ATC or as many ATC backgrounds as time permits. In addition to the technique tags, you'll be given 10 ATC blanks...for plenty of PLAY!

Inky-active Cards, Part 2: Surprising Sliders

Do you like to make and give “interactive” cards with that fun element of the unexpected? Learn how to create four different action cards featuring Inky Antics stamps: a Slide ‘n Stand Card (which automatically creates its own built-in display base), an adorable Tented Slider Card, a Peek-a-Boo Card, and an entertaining Confetti Flinger Card (yes, it really blasts a bit of sparkle at the recipient!). It may look hard to make them, but it’s really easy once you discover the secrets!
Your class kit will include full-color instructions so you can create these great projects again on your own. If you enjoyed last year's original Inky-active Cards class, you're sure to love our brand new lineup of motion cards. And if you didn’t get a chance to register then, we look forward to seeing you this time!
Supplies Required By Students: Scissors, a five-yard roll of 1/8” red-lined tape, a five-yard roll of 1/4” tape, tweezers to pull the red-lined tape strips (optional), and an adhesive runner (or a roll of double-sided tape). Adhesive products and tweezers may be purchased at the start of class, if desired.
