Tonya Weakley is a well known scenic stamping specialist. The founder of Peddlers Den, she has been teaching scenic stamping for close to 25 years. After many years of wishing she had specific images that were not available, she decided that it was time to design her own line. Her vision was a line which would add to, not compete with, the other existing scenic lines. From March to June 2018 she and her team designed the first 269 images and verses, and the "Makin' A Scene" stamp collection was born. In July she pressed the first rubber, and the rest is history!
"I love sharing and teaching masking, scene building, and various coloring techniques. It looks intimidating, but ANYONE can do it!" she says. "I believe scenic stamping brings added value to your stamp collection. Scenic images never go out of style. You combine them in new ways to create something fresh and new each time you stamp." Tonya has taught throughout the midwest, and runs a 4 day scenic stamping retreat (with classes) each spring. She has had the privilege of working with students from all over the USA and Canada.
"Call of the Loon" is a technique laden, beginner friendly class. Stampers of all skill levels should enjoy it! Tonya is looking forward to meeting and teaching lots of stampers, and making new friends at OOAK!
Shirley has been paper crafting since her Mom introduced the craft to the whole family about 25 years ago. Shirley started with creating a keepsake scrapbooking calendar for her Grandma. After that, she was hooked!
As the storage space for her craft supplies grew, so did Shirley’s paper crafting stash. She decided Stampin’ Up! met her paper crafting needs and signed up to be a demonstrator 15 years ago. Since then, her style and course offerings have changed as the industry grew.
Shirley now has a blog, Youtube channel and Facebook page to share paper crafting ideas, blog hops and promotions. She currently offers Greeting Card Buffets in her home in Sun Prairie and is looking for scrapbookers eager to move phone photos to real scrapbooks.
Stop at Shirley’s table on the show floor and attend her classes during the expo weekend. Card Buffets are Friday and Sunday. Wood Crate Projects class is Saturday only.
I was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia, where I met my husband Tom. We moved to Madison,Wisconsin where he went to the University of Wisconsin and then on to Marquette Law school. We decided to stay because it was a great place to raise our two daughters, Alicia and Rina. My husband, Tom, worked for many years as an attorney and a few years ago he left his career in law to help me run Gina K. Designs and StampTV.
I found stamping like many other stampers out there. I went to my first stamping party and I was immediately hooked. Shortly after, I signed up as a demonstrator to "get the discount." That turned into a full time business for me. I had a pretty big downline, earned several cruises and did lots of workshops. I loved the teaching aspects of the business. When the company I demonstrated for changed their career plan, I decided to change mine and Gina K. Designs was born.
I have a great support team! My Design Team, Moderators, Tech Crew and Staff are all key to the success and growth of StampTV and Gina K. Designs. Once you become part of the StampTV community, you quickly gain about 24,000 new best friends who are their to support you and celebrate with you! I really wanted to build a community where everyone fits in. It doesn’t matter who you are, if you love stamping and paper crafting, you are our sister or brother. StampTV has helped a lot of people find friendship and happiness. It's a wonderful place to grow your creative wings with lots of support.
My goal is to continue to offer high quality products through Gina K. Designs and high quality videos through StampTV.com. I hope you will join in on the fun!
“I have been a Kiwi Lane Instructor for just over a year and have enjoyed sharing my love of their Designer Templates with others throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. I have been scrapbooking for many years and found that Kiwi Lane helped me be more creative with papers. Teaching others is my passion, and as an educator of 15 years, that is one of my favorite parts of being an instructor. I'm looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new people at OOAK. So come join me as we play to create with Kiwi Lane!”
